Opt-in methods
- Website form (Step 1 above) — visitor enters their phone number and taps "Text Me the Code" on index.html. This only triggers a one-time, transactional verification text confirming the number — it is not a marketing message and requires no separate consent. The visitor receives their code either way, whether or not they ever opt into marketing.
- Marketing opt-in (Step 2 above) — after the code is revealed, a distinct, unchecked-by-default checkbox lets the visitor opt in to recurring marketing texts (this deal plus future personalized deals). A visitor can complete the entire unlock flow and receive their code without ever checking it.
- Keyword/text-in — a visitor may also text our number directly to begin; the first automated reply repeats the same consent and opt-out language before any marketing message is sent.
